This is one school that kids would love! While it’s a chance for kids to get their hands dirty without getting into trouble, they also get the chance to learn about the history of pizza, listen to an original song about pizza, and there’s science too. Sarah and Antonio, the energetic, hilarious, and lively teachers from Eating Italy Food Tours, are fluent in both English and Italian and did a fabulous job in managing the kids who were of varying ages.
While my nieces have made pizza at home, this setting in a pizzeria, as well as getting their own apron and chef’s hat, made the experience more fun and memorable. They had a ball, so much so that the next day they asked if they could go back to pizza school.
If you are looking for a fun activity for kids in Rome, this is one you shouldn’t miss out on. And while the kids have their hands full, adults can sit back, relax and enjoy a bountiful aperitivo before getting served the pizza of their choice made by the pizzaiolo.
Check out the video to get a glimpse of this experience, and to read more about it here’s a post written on the pizza making school for kids by We3Travel. A big thanks to Eating Italy Food Tours for extending the invitation to nieces to join the Pizza Making School and the delicious aperitivo spread that the adults thoroughly enjoyed.
