Favorite Reads on Italy (FRI) is a weekly roundup published on Fridays featuring interesting articles, fascinating experiences, and handy resources that I’ve come across that week.
This week’s roundup includes places of famous movie scenes shot in Rome, quiet places to getaway even in Milan, sensous photographs of Michelangelo’s sculptures, delicious sweet recipes and fun in Pisa beyond the tower.

Famous Movie Locations in Rome by Huffington Post – Rome makes for a lovely movie set and here are places were some famous scenes were shot. All are in the historic center and can easily be reached on foot.
